Inspired by a true story, Kinky Boots follows Charlie, the owner of a struggling shoe factory, who partners with Lola, a drag queen, in an attempt to find a way to save the business. An adaptation of the 2005 British film of the same name, Kinky Boots features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Tony-winner Harvey Fierstein abd wona Tony Award for best musical.
